Woodlands Organic Farm has been delivering to St Neots and surrounding villages for several years.
Woodlands grow around 90 different kinds of vegetable (making them 85% self-sufficient across the year), soft fruit and eggs.
They also have a small herd of Lincoln Red Cattle, a flock of Lincoln Longwool Sheep (an endangered species), and rare breed tukeys.
At the time of writing (February 2007), boxes still start at only £6 including delivery.
Woodlands have a passion for promoting local affordable organic food. They were founding members of the Huntingdon Farmers Market, won the Organic Box Scheme of the Year Award in 2003, and in 2004 were voted Organic Producer of the Year.
Members of the St. Neots website have also commented extremely favourably on the taste and quality of the food, and the friendly service.
