St.Neots Rowing Club is a very active club which is always interested in attracting new members of any age. Apart from rowing the club has recently finished a new gymnasium which is fitted out with extensive weight training equipment as well a having four rowing machines. A new gym membership is now available which can be paid for in a variety of ways, inquiries are always welcome from potential members.

Apart form the sporting side of the club, there is also an active social club. The St.Neots Rowing Club possesses a fully licensed bar which is spacious and includes a large screen TV and a pool table.

Any one who is interested in trying rowing, gym membership or social membership should contact the club on the above numbers or visit the club which is situated next to the priory centre.

The biggest event held by the St.Neots Rowing Club is the St.Neots regatta which is held annually on the riverside park, opposite the rowing club. This year the regatta will be held on the weekend of the 25 and 26 July. The St.Neots regatta is one of the largest river based regattas in the country attracting competitors from around the country and occasionally from overseas. The regatta is very lively and appreciated by many inhabitants of St.Neots every year. Support for the regatta and the club in terms of sponsorship is always welcomed and there is a sponsors enclosure next to the river during the regatta.

RECENT ACHIEVMENTS:
By far the strongest contingent of rowers at St.Neots Rowing Club at the present time is the junior squad. Helped by a lottery grant and new equipment, the squad is reaching new heights. Having started the year of well, the men's under 18 quad scull of Matt Johnson, Tom Porteus, Richard Shilling and Jon Rooney have recently qualified for the much publicised Henley Royal regatta. From a field of 34 crews they qualified at Henley finish in the top 16. The regatta runs from July 1 to 5. Hopes are high among the juniors.
