Little Paxton's river mill bridge floods countless times every year.  The above scene will be familiar to motorists - "Do I add 20 minutes onto my journey or risk fording the flood?"  As a community service - the shallowest point will be on the right hand side of the road heading into Paxton from St. Neots.  Keep your revs high and your speed low (ride the clutch) to avoid stalling or flooding your engine.  The police will charge you if they are called out to remove your car!
